Key takeaways
- Covers notice, open fan requests, scheduled posts, access and the final statement.
- No passwords, recovery codes or payout details belong in it, ever.
- Every open item gets an owner and a date.
- It does not replace reading your agreement; for legal questions, ask a lawyer.
Why a handover needs a plan
When you leave an agency, the work does not stop on the last day. Fans may be waiting for a custom video they have already paid for. Posts may be scheduled for next week. The old team may still have access to your account. And the final statement has to match what was actually earned.
None of this is dramatic if you plan it. It only becomes stressful when it is forgotten. If you are still deciding whether to leave, our article on why creators leave agencies may help you sort your thoughts first.
What's on the checklist
| Section | Fields |
|---|---|
| Who and what | Account alias, platform, account owner, outgoing contact, incoming contact |
| Dates | Agreed end date, confirmation of notice |
| Access | Type of permission, date to review it, access removed |
| Open work | Reference for each pending paid request, who delivers it and by when, reference to the approved content folder, scheduled posts |
| Money | Final accounting period, how refunds are handled, final statement checked |
| Wrap-up | Open questions, handover accepted on |
Step by step: before, during and after
- Before you give notice: read your agreement for the notice process and any overlap. If a clause is unclear, ask a lawyer before you act.
- Take stock: list your accounts, the permissions the agency has, scheduled posts and open paid requests. Use references, never fans' personal data.
- Assign owners: for every open item, agree who handles it and by when.
- On the end date: review and remove the outgoing agency's access at the agreed time.
- Close it out: check the final statement, confirm what is done and what is still open, and note the date the handover was accepted.
Our guide to the OnlyFans agency contract shows which clauses matter most when you leave.

| Open task | Approved set for custom request #12 |
| Owner | The creator, with an agreed delivery date |
| Access | Remove the old agency's delegated access on the end date, following the platform's rules |
| Closing | Confirm the delivery and the final statement separately |

Does this checklist replace reading my contract?

Should I write my passwords into the checklist?
Never. Passwords, recovery codes and payout details do not belong in any checklist or shared document.
Can I use it if I am not switching to Ventures?
Of course. It is free and works for any agency change, or if you decide to run your page on your own again.
