Choosing an agency

Why Creators Leave Their OnlyFans Agency – and How to Fix Things Before You Do

In our view, most reasons to leave an OnlyFans agency come down to everyday teamwork breaking down: posts go live without your okay, prices change behind your back, fan requests disappear or you simply don’t know what’s going on. These are process problems – which means they can often be named and fixed. And if they can’t, you deserve a clean exit.

Here’s how to tell the difference, speak up clearly and decide whether to stay or go.

Key takeaways

  • Most frustrations come from unclear processes, not bad intentions.
  • Describe the problem with facts and dates – it makes fixing it much easier.
  • Agree on one fix, one person responsible and a date to check it.
  • If nothing improves, plan a clean handover and take back every access.

Where teamwork breaks down

These situations can happen in any team – including ours – and none of them describes a particular agency. What matters is how quickly they get fixed:

What happensHow it feels for youWhat fixes it
A post goes live before you approved itYou lose control over your own pageA clear approval step: nothing goes out without your okay
Two people change your pricesFans get confusing offersOne current price list with a date and one person in charge
A custom request gets lost between shiftsYou look unreliable to your fansA shared list of open requests with deadlines
You only see one total at the end of the monthYou can’t tell what’s workingA weekly review of what was done and what’s next
Messages to your manager go unansweredYou feel like a numberA fixed contact person and an agreed reply time

Speak up – with facts, not just feelings

When something goes wrong, write it down while it’s fresh: the date, what was agreed, what actually happened and what it caused. “On Tuesday my price was changed without my approval” is something a team can check and fix. “You don’t care about my brand” is a real feeling – but it’s hard to act on.

Add proof where it helps, like the approved price list or the message where you said no. Leave out any fan details that aren’t needed.

Agree on a fix and a date

Ask for three things: one fix, one person who’s responsible and a date when you’ll check whether it worked. If the same mistake keeps happening, look deeper – maybe the team is overloaded or doesn’t have the right access to do the job properly. One more meeting won’t replace a missing approval step.

If something serious happened without your permission, you can pause the access concerned until it’s sorted. It’s your account, after all.

When leaving is the better move

Sometimes the trust is gone, or the same problems come back again and again. Then it’s completely okay to go. Check your agency contract for notice periods, then plan the handover: get your files back, list open fan requests and paid customs, settle the final statement and remove every access. Our agency handover checklist makes sure you don’t forget anything.

If the contract terms are disputed, get advice from a lawyer before assuming you can leave immediately.

What we do so you never want to leave

We’d rather earn your trust every week than lock you in. At Ventures nothing is posted without your approval, you have a short weekly review with your manager, and our commission – 25–50% of revenue after the platform fee – is agreed in writing before we start. No upfront fees, no extra fees, and you can cancel monthly or immediately by mutual agreement. You keep your account, login, 2FA, recovery details and payouts the whole time.

Frequently asked questions

Can I leave my OnlyFans agency at any time?

That depends on your contract, so read the notice period and cancellation terms carefully. At Ventures you can cancel monthly, or immediately by mutual agreement. If terms are unclear or disputed, ask a lawyer.

Will I lose my account if I leave an agency?

You shouldn’t. The account should always be in your name, with your login, 2FA and payouts. If an agency controls your recovery details or payouts, take them back first and contact the platform’s support if you need help.

Should I talk to my agency before leaving?

If there’s still some trust, yes. Many problems are about processes and can be fixed once they’re named clearly. If nothing changes by the agreed date, you’ve given it a fair chance.
